Registration - Acceptance Criteria

We will work closely with GLOBE Partners to identify individuals who will commit fully to becoming GLOBE Trainers.

Preference will be given to potential trainer candidates who:

1. Have prior GLOBE experience having participated in a GLOBE teacher training

2. Agree to conduct a minimum of one teacher training each year for at least three years as part of their support to the teachers in their service region(s) or state

3. Have a good, supportive relationship with their Partner

4. Understand or have experience implementing inquiry-based educational program(s)

5. Understand or have experience in designing and implementing professional development activities or have been identified by a GLOBE Partner as an individual with the potential to become an expert GLOBE staff developer

6. Agree to participate in all components of the GLOBE TCP (5-week online Orientation course with 15 contact hours, 5-day face-to-face TCP Workshop, and a three month online Follow-up course)

7. Agree to provide instruction on the protocols at the TCP Workshop
